Volunteering with CVTC is an extremely rewarding experience. After an intensive training, our Advocates put themselves on-call, providing emotional support and crisis counseling for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in the Emergency Department. Advocates are the first step in a person's healing process, and the heart of CVTC. If you are interested, please call or email the volunteer coordinator, Christopher Bromson at 212-523-4494 or cbromson@cvtc-slr.org to be placed on the contact list for the next training session. The continuing education dates below are not for new volunteers - training for you takes place annually in the fall. Download the recruitment flyer for specific dates, and call now to start the application process!
